As you guys can see, this accessory is designed to work with your car. Now, the good thing about this particular accessory is that you do not need to plug in the car charger for the FM transmitter to work: plugging into the car charger simply charges the phone while you are on the go. If you would just like to use the accessory for FM transmitting, feel free to just carry around the transmitter and it will work with your phone's battery. The sound quality from the FM transmitter is pretty mediocre, but the remote makes up for whatever coolness that the FM transmitter does not have. This little gadget is perfect for flipping through songs while you are on the go and takes little to no effort. Good for showing off to your friends. The build quality is a bit lacking, but for $17 I am not going to complain. As well, the FM transmitter has a blue backlight light that illuminates very well during low light conditions.
Overall, I would give this accessory a 8.5/10.
Downsides: The hole that fits into the FM transmitter is loose, and causes the cable to fall out at times.
Thanks for the review

ReplyDeleteThat looks pretty useful, and at $17 it's a pretty good deal!
ReplyDeleteIt looks handy, but I wonder what the expected life of the device is. I know that a previous FM transmitter that I had lasted about 2 months before it died. I don't remember what it was either.
